Key Responsibilities:
- A/R and A/P management
- Maintain ledgers with QuickBook Online
- Reconcile vendor statements to keep accounts current
- Preparation of month end bank and credit card reconciliations
- Process inter-company transactions, reconciliations, and adjustment entries
- Providing support with various research, project and data analysis when required
- Administer employee time sheet data in support of payroll administration
- Prepare other financial, statistical and accounting reports where required
- Fiscal year-end preparation
- Data entry
Qualifications:
- Accounting Diploma or Degree preferred
- 3+ years of bookkeeping experience, including expertise in managing accounts payable/receivable (AP/AR), financial reporting, and proficiency with QuickBooks Online
- Experience with reconciling bank statements and G/L reconciliation, and prepare timely financial reports while ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
- Experience with QuickBooks Online to track finances, generate reports, create invoices, manage bills, and reconcile accounts.
- Capable and confident using the Microsoft Suite
- Excellent organizational skills and a high degree of focus
- Professional telephone and email manner
- Ability to prioritize workload and multitask
- Ability to work independently with a track record of completing tasks accurately and on time
- Must be legally able to work in Canada
- Must be able to work on-site at our Vancouver office
