This three-week residency provides space and focused time to musicians and ensembles from diverse cultural and artistic practices from around the world.
Celebrating all music and transcending borders, Soundweavings explores cross-connections between music makers of traditional global music, as well as Western classical music. The program is centered around both individual project development and creative collaboration in ensemble opportunities led by acclaimed faculty experienced in cross-cultural collaborations.
With the freedom to focus on artistic process and structure your time around the needs of your project, you'll receive artistic inspiration from renowned global artists and peers in a safe sharing environment.

About CultureBrew.Art
Created by Vancouver-based multidisciplinary arts company Visceral Visions, CultureBrew.Art (CBA) is a digital platform that promotes and fosters intersectional interculturalism throughout the performing, literary, media and visual arts. Its central tool is a national searchable database of Indigenous and racialized artists – actors, writers, singers, musicians, dancers, filmmakers, directors, designers, composers, choreographers, stage managers, and other arts and culture professionals – to which theatres, dance and opera companies, film/TV casting professionals, indie directors/producers, schools, community and social service non-profits, government agencies, media outlets, ad agencies, and more may access as subscribers.
