Do you love working with your hands, fixing things before they become problems, and keeping outdoor spaces in top shape? We’re looking for a hardworking, jack-of-all-trades who can roll with the seasons—mowing lawns in the sunshine, painting porches in the fall breeze, and keeping fireplaces cozy and ready in the cottages. At Digby Pines Golf Resort and Spa,you’ll do more than just landscaping—you’ll play a key role in keeping our hotel rooms, cottages, and common areas safe, functional, and welcoming for guests. If you're just as comfortable with a wrench or a paintbrush as you are behind a lawnmower, this is the job for you.

What You'll Be Doing:

Repairs & Maintenance:

• Respond quickly to maintenance calls from hotel rooms and cottages

• Handle basic repairs—plumbing, carpentry, and painting

• Deliver firewood, set fireplaces, and ensure guest fireplace areas are ready and safe

• Paint, patch, and polish outdoor structures and resort features as required

• Report and follow up on larger maintenance issues to keep everything running smoothly

Grounds & Landscaping:

• Operate ride-on and zero-turn mowers like a pro

• Trim, edge, weed, rake, and sweep to keep our grounds clean and sharp

• Clear pathways and trails for guests to enjoy safely year-round

Tools &Teamwork:

• Use power tools safely—chainsaws, pressure washers, and more

• Maintain and care for tools and equipment so they're always ready for action

• Help unload and distribute deliveries across the property

Guest Experience:

• Greet guests with a friendly attitude if they have questions about the property

• Be visible, helpful, and professional when working around guests

Safety & Standards:

• Follow all safety protocols and proper chemical/tool handling

• Keep work areas tidy and secure

• Report hazards or serious repairs to management ASAP

Who You Are:

• A natural fixer with experience in general maintenance, landscaping, or trades

• Confident using a range of tools and comfortable troubleshooting basic repair issues

• Reliable, self-motivated, and physically fit—this job keeps you moving

• Okay with working days, evenings, weekends, and holidays (flexibility is key)

• A team player who takes pride in keeping everything looking and working its best
