• Location: Montréal, QC – close to Centre Bell Stadium
• Preferred start date: ASAP
• Lesson format: Face-to-face, in-person

Details

• Availability: Monday and Friday, between 8:00 am and 4:00 pm

• Lesson Frequency: 2 times per week

• Lesson Duration: 1 hour each

• Current level: Beginner

• Native/other languages: English, Chinese, Indonesian

• Goals:

  • Improve ability to converse with native speakers on everyday topics
  • Focus on grammar, vocabulary, and common expressions
  • Practice conversation during lessons with a clear structure
  • Follow lessons with defined objectives, consistent methods, and planned schedules
  • Accelerate learning with an organized approach supporting real-life communication
  • Incorporate areas of interest such as current affairs

Responsibilities

• Design beginner-level French lessons focusing on conversation, grammar, and vocabulary
• Create a structured learning plan with defined objectives
• Incorporate real-life communication scenarios and practical expressions
• Offer engaging and varied learning methods while keeping lessons consistent and organized
• Adapt lesson topics to student’s interests such as current affairs

Qualifications

• Native or near-native proficiency in French
• Certificate or degree in language teaching, linguistics, education, or related field
• Minimum of 2 years’ teaching experience with adult beginners
• Ability to create structured, practical, and engaging lessons
• Experience helping professionals accelerate language learning is an asset
