Location: Hardisty, Alberta
Employment Type: 2-year term Contract
Shift Schedule: Monday - Friday 8 hours per day
Accommodations: Not provided
Travel: Travel to site In Company Provided Vehicle
Responsibilities:
-
Manage warehouse operations safely and efficiently.
-
Oversee inventory control using Oracle / Maximo systems.
-
Maintain up-to-date records for materials, spares, and critical components.
-
Safely operate materials handling equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks).
-
Ensure materials and spares are kept in a “ready for use” condition.
-
Oversee the distribution of operating and construction materials.
-
Coordinate with Asset Recovery for surplus material disposition.
-
Assist in managing warehouse operations budget and expense reports.
-
Comply with all mandatory safety training.
-
Follow Operations and Projects Safety Policies.
-
Track all required safety and operational metrics.
-
Respond to emergency callouts if required.
-
Ensure inventory control and safe operation of forklifts.
-
Maintain warehouse equipment.
-
Manage warehouse costs
-
Ensure housekeeping is up to standard.
-
Communicate effectively with supervisors and teams to minimize disruptions and maximize productivity.
-
Work cohesively with teams of employees or contractors.
-
Communicate in a polite and courteous manner.
Who you are:
-
High School Diploma or equivalent GED with 3-5 years of related experience preferred.
-
Valid Driver’s license with no more than 4 demerits.
-
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills with strong communication skills.
-
Computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook)
-
Mechanically inclined.
-
Experience operating a forklift considered an asset.
-
Requires repetitive lifting, bending, crouching, standing and lifting up to 50 lbs. on a repetitive basis, physically demanding outdoor work.
-
You will be required to undergo various background screening that includes but is not limited to 3-year driving record, and fit-for-work medical clearance.
Working Conditions:

Work requires frequent exposure to adverse weather conditions and the requirement to wear personal protective equipment.

Please note the successful candidate will be required to pass a Drug and Alcohol Test, Fit for Work Exam, Respiratory Fitness Test, Mask Fit Test which is provided by C.P. Services.
Applicants must already hold the following certifications to be eligible for this position. If the successful candidate does not already possess these certifications, they will be required to obtain them at their own expense prior to commencing work.
