Manager, Finance Division Projects & Supplier Analytics

Position Summary

The Manager, Finance Division Projects & Supplier Analytics is a strategic business partner responsible for leading financial insights, supplier analytics, and cross-functional initiatives that drive enterprise performance. This role combines financial leadership with merchandising and supplier engagement strategy to influence decision-making at the senior leadership level.

The Manager will oversee end-to-end program delivery, lead a team, and ensure alignment across Finance, Merchandising, Supply Chain, and SSC to drive scalable, data-driven outcomes that improve profitability, supplier experience, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership & Business Partnership

  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, providing fact-based insights and recommendations to drive business decisions.
  • Own and lead strategic initiatives that span Finance, Supplier Analytics, and Merchandising enablement. [
  • Translate enterprise priorities into actionable financial and operational strategies across business units.

Financial & Analytical Excellence

  • Lead financial planning, forecasting, and performance analysis (P&L, variance analysis, profitability drivers).
  • Oversee development of advanced analytics and reporting to generate actionable insights and support decision-making.
  • Identify risks and opportunities, providing proactive recommendations to optimize business performance.
  • Partner with Merchandising to define and enhance supplier experience and program adoption.

Cross-Functional Leadership & Execution

  • Drive alignment across Finance, Merchandising, Supply Chain, SAP systems, and SSC teams to deliver integrated solutions.
  • Lead complex, enterprise-level projects and transformation initiatives from ideation to execution.
  • Influence stakeholders across all levels, including senior leadership and executive audiences.

Process Improvement & Innovation

  • Identify and implement process improvements that enhance efficiency, scalability, and data integrity. [
  • Build and evolve tools, dashboards, and methodologies to improve reporting, forecasting, and analytics capabilities.

People Leadership

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of analysts, fostering a high-performance and growth-oriented culture.
  • Set clear priorities, performance expectations, and development plans aligned to organizational goals.
  • Promote collaboration, knowledge sharing, and best practices across teams.

Supplier Strategy & Program Leadership

  • Lead the development and execution of supplier engagement and enablement strategies aligned to business goals.
  • Drive monetization, contract optimization, and supplier growth initiatives, including renewal and expansion opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Analytics, or related field.

  • 6–10+ years of progressive experience in Finance, Analytics, or Business Strategy roles.

  • Demonstrated experience leading complex cross-functional initiatives and influencing senior leaders.

  • Prior experience managing or mentoring team members preferred.

  • Strong technical expertise in financial systems, SAP/S4HANA, and data analytics tools
