About the role
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Global Digital Marketing PMO team as a Project Manager. In this role, you will help shape and evolve project management standards and processes for digital product delivery. You’ll work closely with internal stakeholders and external vendors, contributing to our mission of delivering impactful digital experiences. This role offers the chance to influence business processes, build strong cross-functional relationships, and drive strategic digital transformation initiatives.
Position Responsibilities
- Responsible for successful delivery of projects, ensuring alignment with time, cost, and quality expectations.
- Deliver projects using Manulife’s project methodology; maintain master and individual project plans.
- Coordinate activities across internal Global IT and external project/account managers.
- Manage business and project risks, including contingency planning.
- Develop Statements of Work (SOWs) with external vendors.
- Ensure compliance with IT, Risk, and Digital standards and obtain necessary stakeholder signoffs.
- Maintain project management assets including: Project Plans & Charters, SOWs, RAID Logs, RACI matrices
- Provide cost/time estimates and monitor project budgets.
- Deliver regular status updates to project leads and stakeholders.
- Support product launch and adoption across segments.
- Ensure smooth transition from product team to IT support and operations.
- Define and monitor product success against KPIs and OKRs.
Required Qualifications
- Solid project management expertise with full lifecycle experience.
- Excellent knowledge of project management fundamentals.
- Experience with digital transformation projects and strategic product roadmaps.
- Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Smartsheet).
- Experience with Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid methodologies.
- Knowledge of Change Management, Incident Management, Release Management, and related ITIL processes.
- Proven ability to deliver interconnected products within a broader program roadmap.
Preferred Qualifications
- Successful track record in digital marketing and transformation product delivery.
- Experience with enterprise and cloud-hosted environments.
- Ability to work with outsourced and offshore development teams.
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
- Background in digital marketing and ability to build networks across internal groups and third-party vendors.

Salary range is expected to be between
$86,250.00 CAD - $155,250.00 CAD

The actual salary will vary depending on local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and education/training.
