About the role
Permanent Casual Position. Includes Weekdays, Evenings and Weekends. The Casual Direct Support Professional provides call-in or back-fill support. Toronto, ON Hourly $22.87 CAD Opportunity Closing Date: July 10, 2026
Start Date: ASAP
Skills Required:
- DSW or CYS Diploma
- Current/Valid G Driver's License is required
- Computer Skills: Windows, Word, Excel, Email, etc.
Experience Required:
- Behaviour supports
- Medical supports
- CPS Supports
- Supports to people who have a dual diagnosis
- Supports to people who don't use words to communicate
- Supports to people who experience Autism
Ability Required:
- Current NVCI
- Current First Aid/CPR
- Able to lift 35 lbs
- Able to perform CPR
- Able to provide personal care which may include lifting, bending and/or twisting
The successful candidate will be selected based on Article 13.03 of the UFCW Toronto-York Bargaining Unit Collective Agreement.
