Senior Enterprise Architect: On behalf of our Government client, Procom is searching for a

Senior Enterprise Architect for a full-time role. This position is a remote position with occasional days onsite at our client’s Edmonton office.

Senior Enterprise Architect - Job Description: The Architect provides support to the Service Manager and Service Owner to assist with day to day operational duties ensuring the services are operating at peak efficiency, and that the Service architecture is configured to minimize costs, and optimize the user and management experience. The Architect must understand the technical capabilities of the Azure Virtual Desktops (AVD) environment and be able to work in a collaborative manner with both the Service Provider and other technical teams in the government client.

Senior Enterprise Architect - Responsibilities:

• Ability to learn new technologies quickly
• Research industry trends and new capabilities for Azure Virtual Desktop.
• Develops documentation for audit, standard operating procedures, change management, knowledge articles.
• Evaluates risk and implements controls in order to satisfy the requirements of compliance documents such as, Statement of Sensitivity (SOS) and Security Threat Risk Assessment (STRA).
• Provides technical support and analysis to various projects to ensure the implementation of a high-quality solution.
• Contribute to develop the technical skills of the team through cross training, formal training, and stretch assignments, to ensure they align with the IT strategic direction of the government client

Senior Enterprise Architect - Mandatory Skills:

• 3 years experience developing on cloud platforms and utilizing cloud services in development
• 5 years experience in defining technical architecture, building technical environments...
• 5 years experience in gathering requirements from a diverse group of stakeholders
• 3 years experience in multiple architecture domains e.g. business, application, technology
• 5 years experience with process improvement, documentation and requirement gathering
• 3 years experience with triaging technical issues/problems and troubleshooting
• 5 years experience with written and verbal communications including specific experience in

Senior Enterprise Architect – Nice-to-Have Skills:

• 1 year experience collecting requirements, analyzing, designing or implementing M365 products
• 1 year experience collecting requirements, analyzing, designing or implementing Microsoft
• 5 years experience in designing, building, testing, deploying, and supporting
• 5 years experience in designing architecture to support remote work and/or field-based workers.
• 3 years experience in developing new IT services including the development of service
• 1 year experience in IT infrastructure architecture
• 3 years of experience in the design, development and implementation of complex IT solutions
• 3 years of experience with IT service management, IT service management applications
• 3 years experience with User Acceptance Testing processes on large, complex
• 2 years experience working within an agile development environment.
• Experience performing IT and/or business-related analysis, diagnosis, problem-solving, use cases etc.

Senior Enterprise Architect – Assignment Length: The assignment is expected to last 6 months, with potential adjustments based on project needs.
