What can you expect from this position?
Reporting to the Director, Operations Planning, this position will maintain a strong ability to link operational procedures and processes with operational data to drive informed analysis and decision making. This position is responsible for supporting AVS through the application of research techniques to examine, understand and improve airport airside processes, and to identify requirements and opportunities for change. This opportunity is for an 18-month term.
As a Manager, Operational Performance, you will:
- Develop, measure, and maintain monthly AVS performance scorecards to track key operational metrics.
- Prepare and distribute detailed reports outlining results, trends, and key performance drivers.
- Monitor service level agreements (SLAs) and lead discussions with airline partners on performance results.
- Collaborate with AVS Operations to ensure accurate analysis and provide data to support business case development.
- Work with business partners to identify data sources, establish KPIs, and measure performance against service standards.
- Lead AVS representation with ITT for the development and automation of Electronic Data Management/Business Intelligence systems.
- Design BI dashboards and reporting tools to enable operational teams to leverage data effectively.
- Conduct process analysis, cost/benefit studies, ROI assessments, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Research aviation benchmarking, best practices, and identify gaps to support future capacity planning.
- Develop programs, studies, and surveys to optimize operational efficiency and facility performance.
- Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing, diverse team while fostering a collaborative and safe work environment.
- Drive strategic clarity, empower decision-making, and provide meaningful feedback to support personal and career growth.
This is the role for you, if you have:
- 5+ years of experience in an aviation environment dealing with operations.
- The ability to consolidate and analyze multiple, disparate data sources to generate actionable insights.
- Strong knowledge of aviation operations, including processes, facilities, and airline service standards.
- Post-secondary degree or diploma or a combination of education and relevant experience.
- Ability to obtain and retain Transportation Security Clearance at the designated level for the position.
