Artco has nearly 40 years’ experience in manufacturing case goods, upholstered furniture, and millwork for the hospitality industry across North America. Artco specializes in high-end custom furniture for luxury hotels and is part of the Chervin group of companies which also provides high-end custom residential cabinetry, residential furniture, and home décor.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Follow training instructions to maintain a safe operation of the shunt truck, forklifts, or powered pump carts. Maintain safe speeds, wear seat belts, etc. Plug in shunt truck during winter months
- Use either wheel chocks and/or dock locking arms at all times when moving in and out of the trailer as per training.
- Ensure the dock doors are used as per training. Inform maintenance/managers of faulty equipment
- Assist with unloading/reloading trailers (i.e. foam, stone, glass, etc.) as per manager requests or as needed basis.
- Inform managers of trailer usage need (keep trailer log up to date on a regular basis)
- Assist in other departments as needed
- Help maintain an organized and tidy workspace to ensure smooth processes and enable your team to produce the best quality products
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure production requirements are met safely and efficiently
