Sales Development Manager
As a Sales Development Manager you will drive success across our sales teams. You’ll design and deliver impactful training, coaching, and workshops that build confidence and sharpen skills in prospecting, closing, and client engagement. Your background in commercial insurance sales will enable you to play a key role in growing performance and aligning our people with business goals.
Here is what a typical day looks like

Partner with Branch Level Leadership to provide personalized coaching and development plans to both new and experienced Sales Producers in terms of identifying markets, setting goals/targets, providing material support on new business submissions and negotiations, and addressing any specific challenges or training gaps.

Provide Sales Producers mentorship and coaching to stay motivated and accountable to their goals and targets, as well as sharpen skills such as prospecting, closing deals, and building and maintaining strong client relationships.

Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to develop cohesive strategies, programs, workshops, and initiatives, ensuring that all parties are aligned in key focus areas.

Evaluate impact and success of training programs, reporting results to Senior Leadership, and adapting as needed based on participant outcomes and business priorities.
The value you bring

General Level 2 Insurance License required.

Outbound sales background and intimate understanding of the sales process.

Experience in providing coaching/training to Sales Producers.

Technical knowledge of Commercial Lines Insurance Products, Provincial Regulations, and Carrier Requirements & Offerings.

Deep understanding of the external insurance market and ability to pivot direction based on evolving trends and developments.
Hours: Full-Time, Permanent - 37.5 hours/week
Location: Remote in Alberta, Canada. < 30% travel required.
Compensation Range: $80,000 - $110,000
