Position Purpose and Summary
The Manager, Regional Recruitment Partnerships supports Trinity Western University’s efforts to establish and deepen an external partnership portfolio within assigned regions. This role is responsible for developing, strengthening, and stewarding high-impact relationships with mission-aligned organizations including Christian schools, churches, camps, youth organizations and non-profits.
Reporting to the Executive Director of Recruitment, the Manager sets regional partnership strategy, establishes measurable objectives, and ensures that community engagement initiatives align with TWU’s Strategic Enrolment Plan and institutional priorities for all levels of study.
Through oversight of the Community Engagement Coordinator, the Manager ensures consistent execution of field-based engagement while supporting the stewardship of senior-level relationships and identifying new partnership opportunities that advance TWU’s mission and enrolment outcomes.

Key Areas of Accountability
External Partnership Development
- Develop and implement annual and multi-year regional partnership strategies aligned with institutional enrolment goals.
- Identify, cultivate, and steward high-value institutional relationships within assigned portfolios.
- Establish clear partnership frameworks that create mutual value for TWU and external organizations.
- Represent TWU at strategic conferences, gatherings, and networking events.
- Work with faculty, staff, and alumni teams to align institutional resources with partner needs.
Leadership & Team Oversight
- Provide leadership, coaching, and performance management for the Community Engagement Coordinator.
- Establish clear territory plans, performance metrics, and engagement standards.
- Monitor outcomes across portfolios, evaluating effectiveness and adjusting strategy as required.
- Foster a culture of accountability, professionalism, and servant leadership within the team.
Integration with Recruitment Strategy
- Collaborate closely with recruitment leadership to align partnership initiatives with lead generation, application growth, and yield strategies.
- Coordinate with Marketing & Communications, Advancement, Alumni, and Faculty to ensure cohesive institutional representation.
- Ensure partnership activities support measurable recruitment objectives and conversion outcomes.
- Provide strategic insights and reporting to inform enrolment forecasting and institutional planning.
Financial & Operational Oversight
- Develop and manage regional partnership budgets.
- Forecast expenses and evaluate return on investment for engagement activities.
- Ensure responsible allocation of resources in alignment with institutional priorities.

- Strong understanding of Christian K–12 education networks, denominational structures, and ministry ecosystems.
- Knowledge of higher education recruitment cycles, enrolment funnel metrics, and conversion strategies.
- Familiarity with partnership development principles and stakeholder engagement models.

Standards & Requirements
Education: Undergraduate degree required; graduate degree preferred.
Experience: 5–7 years in recruitment, partnership development, or external relations. Experience with Christian education or ministry networks is an asset.
