**Reports to:**Portfolio Manager, EPMO
**Vacancy status:**This posting is for an existing position.
Purpose of the Role
The Senior Project Manager reports to the Portfolio Manager, EPMO and is responsible for managing medium to large enterprise wide projects as assigned by the Portfolio Manager. This role will lead the planning and execution of multiple projects through LifeLabs’ defined gating framework using LifeLabs’ established project processes and templates. The incumbent will also provide coaching and mentoring to the Project Managers
Core Accountabilities
- Manage the implementation of project deliverables including scope, schedule, budget, procurement, quality, communication and resources.
- Balance the planning and execution of concurrent cross-disciplinary and/or cross-functional projects in various phases of delivery.
- Engage and manage expectations with sponsors, executives, and crossfunctional partners. Facilitate decision-making and ensure clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.
- Manage risks, changes and conflict resolution within projects. Identify risks early, implement mitigation strategies, and proactively manage issues to avoid escalation and project delays.
- Integrate change management practices into project delivery, ensuring readiness, adoption, and successful transition.
- Uphold PMO methodologies, templates, standards, such as detailed project plans, charters to ensure delivery of project artifacts
- Provide timely, accurate reporting on project status, milestones, dependencies, open RAID log items
- Lead project teams with clarity and confidence. Coach, mentor, and motivate team members to drive performance and accountability.
- Support other team members on tool and process adoption as prescribed by the Center of Excellence (CoE)
Minimum Hiring Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
- Formal Project management training and PMP certification or equivalent designation required
- 7 years project management experience.
- Excellent facilitation and change management skills.
- Experience managing cross functional project teams.
- 1-3 Projects at a time (medium to large scope).
- Proficient with Microsoft Office suite of tools.
- Proficient with PPM tools
**What We Offer:**Salary range $96,255 – $122,727 CAD annually (commensurate with experience)
