Options Community Services Society (OCS) operates on the unceded territories of the Coast Salish peoples including Kwantlen, Katzie, Matsqui, Musqueam, Semiahmoo, Tsawwassen, Kwikwetlem, Qayqayt and the Stó:lō Nations. About the Role

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the Director of Information Technology, Risk + Security (the Director) serves as the senior leader responsible for shaping and advancing the organization’s enterprise‑wide technology, risk, and security strategy. This role provides vision, direction, and oversight for all information systems, digital transformation initiatives, and organizational risk management practices.

The Director ensures that technology investments and operations are aligned with the organization’s mission, strategic priorities, and long‑term organizational goals. In addition, the Director upholds the highest standards of privacy, security, and regulatory compliance. With a forward‑thinking approach, the Director guides Information Technology + Risk to support a secure, resilient, and innovative service centred environment.

This is an excellent opportunity for an innovative, community‑driven leader who is passionate about strengthening the non‑profit sector through secure, strategic, and people‑centred technology. The ideal candidate brings relevant education, training, and ongoing professional development, along with five (5) to seven (7) years of progressive experience within information technology, cybersecurity, risk management, and digital transformation. The next Director will have a proven ability to lead high‑performing teams, manage complex systems, and implement innovative solutions that enhance organizational resilience, privacy, and service delivery. A combination of experience, skills, and demonstrated leadership capability will be considered.

The salary for this position is $150,000 - $165,000 supplemented by a competitive total compensation plan. The position is primarily onsite and requires a Class 5 B.C. Driver’s License and a clean Driver’s Abstract. Reliable access to a personal vehicle is also mandatory. This role requires the incumbent to undergo a Police Information Check (PIC), and a Vulnerable Sector Check.
