Business System Manager

Position Summary
As the Business Systems Manager, you will lead the Business Systems & Technology function by managing Premform’s ERP system and related applications used across Finance, Material Management, and Project Teams. You will lead system administration and controls, security roles and access, troubleshooting and issue resolution, coordinating vendor support, upgrade readiness and testing, and strengthening workflows through effective process improvements. The Business Systems Manager partners with department operating stakeholders to standardize processes, develop training materials, and drive adoption so teams work efficiently, consistently, and confidently within the system.
Duties & Responsibilities
ERP Administration, Controls, and Support
- Own ERP administration, security roles, access standards, and user lifecycle management.
- Provide day-to-day support, troubleshooting, and issue resolution, ensuring timely follow-through.
- Maintain system governance and enforce standards to support consistency and data quality.
Vendor Coordination and Upgrades
- Lead upgrades, testing cycles, vendor coordination, and issue escalation.
- Support upgrade readiness through planning, documentation review, testing execution, and rollout coordination.
Process Standardization and Adoption
- Standardize processes, templates, and SOPs across departments.
- Develop and deliver training plans, super-user structure, and adoption support.
- Partner with operating stakeholders to improve workflows, reduce rework, and strengthen compliance to system processes.
Reporting, Integrations, and Continuous Improvement
- Coordinate integrations with operational tools and Microsoft platforms (Excel, Teams, SharePoint).
- Develop reporting standards and dashboards in collaboration with leadership.
- Drive continuous improvement through practical, measurable enhancements to system usage and process performance.
Team Leadership and Development
- Provide strategic leadership, coaching, and day to day direction to Associate System Manager, ensuring clear priorities, strong execution, and professional development.
- Set clear priorities, service standards, and performance expectations to ensure consistent delivery and strong stakeholder support.
- Support ongoing development through structured training, documentation standards, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Must Have Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business, Technology, Finance, or a related field
- 10+ years of ERP and business systems experience
- Strong governance, controls, and security role design experience
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross functional change, training, and system adoption
- Demonstrated ability to strengthen operating structure and standards to support scalable growth and future business development.
Nice-to-have
- CMiC experience (not required, but preferred).
- Experience in supporting system documentation and training programs (super users, onboarding guides).
- Experience in coordinating integrations or working with third-party tools alongside ERP.
- Experience in construction operations workflows
- Experience in supporting multi-company or intercompany environments.

- Configuration support: templates, workflows, forms, approvals, security mapping.
- Reporting support: standardized outputs, data cleanup support, and basic dashboard requirements.
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365 tools (Excel, Teams, SharePoint) and business process mapping.
Salary Range: $100,000–$135,000 per year
Final Compensation will be determined based on skills, experience & expertise.
