Student Assistant - Faculty of Sustainable Design Engineering
About the role
The Faculty of Sustainable Design Engineering is looking to hire a Student Assistant for the Fall 2025 semester.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist with organizing and transferring files from Google Drive to SharePoint
- Ensure proper folder structure and naming conventions during migration
- Verify file integrity and accessibility after transfer
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive documents appropriately
- Provide regular updates on progress and flag any issues to the supervisor
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Currently enrolled at UPEI
- Knowledge of block-based coding
- Familiarity with Google Workspace and Microsoft SharePoint
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently
- Basic understanding of file management and cloud storage systems
- Preference will be given to students with previous experience transferring files and those who are knowledgeable of the intricacies of the engineering program
Priority will be given to University of Prince Edward Island students in accordance with Recruitment, Selection, Hiring and Employment Policies and the Procedures manual.
