Join Our Team and Be Part of the Future! Position: Outside Sales Representative – HVAC/R Preventative Maintenance (Hunter)

Location: Richmond, BC

Salary Range: $82,000-$92,000 + Comissions and Bonus

Your primary focus will be to identify and secure new clients for our preventative maintenance programs — helping them protect and optimize their building HVAC systems.

Position Overview We’re looking for a results-driven Outside HVAC Sales Representative to help drive the growth and profitability of our service business in Richmond, BC working in the Lower Mainland.

  • Identify, target, and qualify prospective customers through a disciplined, professional sales process.
  • Conduct discovery and solution-based sales calls to understand client needs and recommend tailored HVAC service solutions.
  • Develop and execute a territory marketing plan; attend industry and networking events to expand business opportunities.
  • Represent Carmichael Engineering with professionalism, integrity, and pride while upholding our standards of quality and service excellence.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and sales activity tracking.

What We’re Looking For Required:

  • Proven experience selling HVAC Preventative Maintenance Programs
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience working with commercial or industrial HVAC systems
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM software
  • Strong value-based and consultative selling skills
  • Experience selling intangible or service-based solutions
  • Preferred:
  • Strong technical acumen and attention to detail
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
  • Familiarity with recognized sales methodologies and industry standards
  • Bonus Qualifications: Post-secondary education in business, mechanical, or related field
