Job Title: G1 Licensed HVAC Technician
Our member, RJ's Mechanical , is seeking a skilled and motivated HVAC Technician to join their team in **Woodstock, ON.
RJ's Mechanical** is a local HVAC/R company located just outside of Woodstock, ON — for over two decades they have been delivering honest, certified heating, ventilation, air-conditioning and refrigeration solutions for homes, businesses and industry.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems.
- Inspect HVAC systems and components for potential issues.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC system problems.
- Perform regular maintenance tasks, such as cleaning and replacing filters.
- Repair or replace defective equipment, components, or wiring.
- Test HVAC systems to ensure proper functionality.
- Follow blueprints, design specifications, and manufacturer instructions.
- Comply with all safety protocols and regulations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Certification or associate degree in HVAC or a related field (preferred).
- Proven experience as an HVAC technician or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and components.
- Familiarity with schematics and technical drawings.
- Proficiency in using tools and equipment related to HVAC work.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
Skills:
- Ability to install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems.
- Knowledge of mechanical systems and components.
- Understanding of plumbing principles related to HVAC systems.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting schematics and technical drawings.
- Experience with appliance repair and troubleshooting.
- Strong mechanical aptitude for diagnosing system issues.
- Welding skills for joining metal components.

Pay: $43.50 - $53.50 per hour.

Expected Hours: 40 - 50 per week.
