In this role, you will lead the IT strategy and operations for a fast-growing technology organization, overseeing infrastructure, security, and support services across multiple locations and remote teams. You will balance strategic vision with hands-on execution, ensuring that IT systems scale with business growth while maintaining reliability, compliance, and excellent user experience. This role involves collaboration across engineering, operations, finance, HR, and facilities to enable innovation, drive operational efficiency, and support next-generation technology deployments. You will also lead and mentor an IT team while managing vendor relationships and IT budgets.
Accountabilities
- Define and execute the IT roadmap, aligned with business growth, expansion, and R&D objectives.
- Oversee enterprise IT infrastructure, networks, and cloud services, ensuring uptime, scalability, and performance.
- Lead collaboration, productivity, and ERP system implementations to support cross-functional teams.
- Support IoT and edge-device deployments critical to technology operations.
- Partner with security leaders to manage identity, endpoint protection, and incident response, ensuring compliance with ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR, CCPA, and other regulations.
- Build, mentor, and grow a high-performing IT team, fostering a culture of innovation and operational excellence.
- Manage IT budgets, procurement, vendor contracts, and partner relationships.
- Establish and monitor SLAs for IT support across offices, labs, and operational sites, driving continuous improvement.
Requirements
- 10+ years in IT infrastructure and operations, with 5+ years in leadership roles.
- Proven experience managing enterprise IT environments in high-growth, tech-driven organizations.
- Expertise in networking, cloud platforms, identity management, enterprise systems, and security frameworks.
- Experience supporting multi-location operations and rapid organizational expansion.
- Demonstrated ability to hire, mentor, and scale IT teams and infrastructure.
- Strong communication, leadership, and vendor management skills.
- Experience with IoT deployments, robotics, or live operational environments is a plus.
- Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CISSP, or equivalent are desirable.
- Background in budget ownership, M&A support, or enterprise IT planning is advantageous.
