WHAT YOU WILL DO

This role plays a pivotal role in driving HR excellence by delivering top-notch support across various key functions including recruitment, training and development, and fostering positive team member relations.

HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT

  • Act as a liaison, delivering exceptional client service to our team members of all levels with efficiency and quality in every HR interaction.
  • Opportunity to learn all aspects of talent management. From creating compelling job postings to conducting full-cycle recruitment for key positions, ensuring we attract the best talent to our team.
  • Play a pivotal role in developing talent through our Co-Op and New Grad Rotation Programs, fostering a culture of growth and development.
  • Guide new team members through their onboarding experience by supporting our first-day orientation program and coordinating thoughtful welcome gifts.
  • Support the administration of performance, career development, and recognition platforms, ensuring our team members feel valued and supported every step of the way.
  • Support our team's growth and development through tuition support programs and donation match initiatives, amplifying our impact within and beyond our organization.
  • Organize and update our HR metrics, maintaining all reports and ensuring data accuracy for informed decision-making.
  • Craft engaging HR communications, from exciting new hire announcements to career development updates such as promotions and new roles to heartwarming birth celebrations, amplifying our team's stories through internal newsletters and emails.
  • Facilitate vibrant town hall gatherings, fostering transparency and unity within our team.
  • Contribute to our award-winning culture by support the planning and execution of company events.
  • Collect and organize feedback through new hire surveys continuously improving our processes and experiences.
  • Support and coordinate employee engagement surveys (pulse and annual surveys).
  • Curate a knowledge hub on our HR Intranet, empowering our team with resources and information to thrive.
  • Keep our operations running smoothly by managing the HR inbox, coordinating office supplies, and handling invoices and budget transfers.
  • Act as a member of the Joint Health & Safety Committee, ensuring our team members are working in a safe environment.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ROLE

  • Post-secondary degree, diploma or certification in Human Resources Management is required.
  • Up to 2 years of relevant experience in same or similar function.
  • Understanding employment standards and legislation is crucial. Your knowledge ensures compliance and fairness for all.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office is essential. Whether it's crafting documents in Word, managing schedules in Outlook, crunching numbers in Excel, or creating impactful presentations in PowerPoint, your tech skills keep us running smoothly.
  • Focused on confidentiality and demonstrating integrity and sound judgment in all situations.
  • Tackling problems head-on, your organizational and time management abilities keep projects on track and goals within reach.
  • Your strong communication skills and knack for relationship-building foster a positive atmosphere where teamwork thrives, both internally and with our valued clients.
  • With a client-focused attitude and a passion for collaboration, you will energize our team and elevate our workplace culture.
  • A Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) designation is an asset, or if you currently on the path to becoming one.
  • Fluency in multiple languages such as French/English and/or Korean/English (oral and written) is an asset.
  • Occasional travel for training/work-related events.

Hiring Range:$54,000 - $63,500

Starting salary is typically offered in the lower to mid portion of the range, with placement determined by the successful candidate’s skills, experience, and internal equity considerations. Candidates with exceptional qualifications and directly relevant experience may be considered for compensation up to the maximum of the range.
