POSITION DETAILS:
- Hours: 40 hours per week
- Salary Range: $50,000 to $65,000 per year
- Location: Hybrid
ROLE OVERVIEW:
The Jr. Software Developer will work within a team to participate in the development and delivery of enterprise software. Experience enterprise software development using a wide range of cutting-edge technologies in a fast-paced and agile workspace.
ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIP:
Reports to the Development Manager.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Collaborate with the development team to design, develop, test, and deploy enterprise software solutions.
- Write clean, scalable, and efficient code in C# and .NET framework.
- Develop and integrate Restful Webservices and APIs to connect various software components and services.
- Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and team meetings to continuously improve processes and deliverables.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
- Experience and proficiency in object-oriented programming, specifically the .NET framework and C#
- Experience with JavaScript frameworks and libraries such as React, Angular, and StencilJS
- Experience with relational databases such as MS SQL Server and Postgres
- Experience with web technologies such as RESTful Webservices and APIs
- Experience with debugging large and integrated systems, both client and server
- Experience and proficiency in Microsoft DevOps is a plus
- Experience with using component libraries (e.g. MUI) is a plus
- Team-oriented mindset with experience collaborating in diverse environments
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Diploma in computer science or equivalent experience
- Experience with software development tools, such as Git, Visual Studio, VS Code, JIRA, and Azure DevOps.
- Ability to develop software in .NET, C#, React, JavaScript and/or other programming languages.
- Experience developing web applications using at least one popular web framework
- Familiarity with database management systems (e.g. SQL Server, MySQL, Postgres) and data modeling technique
