The Knowledge Mobilization and Research Analyst will support next phases of various PSHSA-led projects related to workplace mental health, psychological health and safety, and violence prevention. The role will contribute to the development and completion of research, knowledge translation, and mobilization activities, ensuring that leading practices, current research, and expertise are incorporated into project resources and disseminated effectively. The analyst will work collaboratively with PSHSA teams and project partners to support the design, production and distribution of resources, materials and tools.

How You’ll Make an Impact

Reporting to the Program Manager, the Knowledge Mobilization & Research Analyst will:

  • Provide subject matter expertise (SME) in relevant areas, supporting the development of project content and resources including workplace mental health, psychological health and safety and (gender-based) violence prevention.
  • Conduct, analyze, consolidate, and interpret completed/existing research related to project objectives (including literature reviews, jurisdictional/environmental scans, and market research) and make recommendations on how to apply the results for knowledge translation and mobilization.
  • Support the development and execution of knowledge translation and mobilization strategies and activities, including content development, and development of distribution of resources, materials and tools.
  • Coordinate and administer research and knowledge translation and mobilization related activities, acting as a liaison between teams, partners, and external vendors.
  • Facilitate and coordinate meetings, book resources, and support project milestones and deliverables.
  • Support the program manager to monitor and report on project progress and proactively managing changes in scope and potential challenges.
  • Engage and communicate with PSHSA teams, stakeholders, sector partners, and external vendors.
  • Prepare periodic and ad hoc reports and presentations for various audiences.
  • Participate in knowledge mobilization and exchange opportunities (presentations, workshops, conferences, etc.).
  • Other duties as assigned.

Your Strengths and Expertise

  • Post-secondary degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum five (5) years of related job experience.
  • Experience with research design, methodologies and data analysis.
  • Understanding of knowledge translation, exchange, and mobilization best practices and experience developing and executing knowledge translation and mobilization strategies.
  • Knowledge of Ontario’s public sectors and health and safety system preferred.
  • Understanding of the complexity of mental health, gender-based violence, or domestic violence.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to coordinate tasks, meet milestones, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality outcomes within a defined timeline.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail; written, oral and interpersonal
  • Ability to translate complex information into user-friendly content.
  • Ability to develop effective and comprehensive reports and presentations for various audiences.
  • Ability to work with various collaborators and partners.
  • Works well independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Strong computer skills, including MS Office suite; aptitude for learning new software.

Details of the Role

The majority of work is performed from home office, however, must be able to travel when necessary.

Status: Full-time Temporary, up to 1-year term

Hours of work: 37.5 / week

Location: Remote

Bargaining Unit position: No

Travel Required: Yes, only when necessary.

Classification: $45 to $50 per hour
