About the role
Position Summary We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR Intern to support our Human Resources team in daily operations. This role will focus on data collection, information management, employee communication, and administrative support across various HR functions.
It is an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in gaining hands-on experience in Human Resources within a fast-paced technology environment.
Work Schedule: Part-time, 20 hours per week Pay: CAD $20/hour Duration: 3 Months
Key Responsibilities HR Data Collection & Reporting Collect, organize, and maintain HR-related data, including employee information, recruitment metrics, onboarding records, and training data Assist in preparing regular HR reports, spreadsheets, and dashboards. Ensure accuracy and completeness of HR databases and documentation. Support data verification, auditing, and record management activities. Communication & CoordinationCoordinate communications with employees regarding HR processes, surveys, training sessions, and company initiatives. Assist in scheduling interviews, meetings, and HR-related events.Follow up with employees and managers to collect required information and documentation. Support internal communication initiatives and employee engagement activities. HR Operations SupportAssist with onboarding and offboarding administration. Prepare HR documents, letters, and employee records as needed. Support recruitment activities, including candidate tracking and interview coordination. Assist in maintaining HR policies, procedures, and document repositories. Administrative Support: Perform general administrative tasks to support HR operations. Organize electronic files and maintain documentation in accordance with company policies. Support special HR projects and process improvement initiatives as assigned.
Qualifications Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Law, or a related field.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Good communication and interpersonal skills.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
