Comcast NBCUniversal has announced its intent to create a new publicly traded company ('Versant') comprised of most of NBCUniversal's cable television networks, including USA Network, CNBC, MSNBC, Oxygen, E!, SYFY and Golf Channel along with complementary digital assets Fandango, Rotten Tomatoes, GolfNow, GolfPass, and SportsEngine. The well-capitalized company will have significant scale as a pure-play set of assets anchored by leading news, sports and entertainment content. The spin-off is expected to be completed during 2025.
Job Description
Reports to Senior Vice President, General Manager.
The Coordinator, Distribution (18-Month Contract)is responsible for supporting the Universal Pictures Distribution Group in Canada.
Essential Responsibilities:

Manages complex schedule and coordinates meetings/functions with internal and external parties
-
Facilitates travel and expense preparation, management and tracking for the department to ensure all are submitted on time and reimbursements are made

Inputs Film Distribution information into internal system
-
Prepares weekly information and reports for internal and external needs
-
Performs repertory/catalogue sales management, film release budget tracking and maintenance
-
Coordinates pre-release film screening programs
-
Prepares analysis and presentation materials related to: General box office performance, Comparable film analysis, Exhibitor performance, Competitive research

Performs customer database management
-
Provides back up coverage for Sales and In-theatre Marketing functions
-
Represents Film Distribution on various internal committees
-
Performs basic administrative tasks as required
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- College or bachelor’s degree
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Outlook, Powerpoint, Excel)
- Strong analytical and written language skills
- Demonstrated organizational skills and ability to multi-task
Eligibility Requirements:

- Strong passion/interest in the film industry
- Experience in data management/manipulation
- Knowledge and experience within the film distribution industry
- Excellent customer interaction and communication skills

- Demonstrated ability to work on a team and willingness to give assistance to co-workers in other areas
Additional Requirements:

Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, which currently requires contributing from the office a minimum of four days per week. The Company reserves the right to change in-office requirements at any time.

Salary range: $55,000 - $65,000
