Primary Teacher

Nathan Barton Elementary School

The Nisga’a School District No. 92 is seeking an elementary teacher to work with students at Nathan Barton Elementary School. Reporting directly to the principal, this is a full-time, continuing position.

  • Recruitment and Retention allowance for all teachers ($2,947 paid over 10 months of the school year, based on FTE).

Qualifications And Experience

  • Valid BC Ministry of Education Teaching Certificate (or eligible for). Be legally permitted to work in Canada
  • Committed to following the goals and strategies outlined in the school and district framework for enhanced learning.
  • Working knowledge of the learning standards, curricular competencies, and core competencies within the BC Curriculum.
