Sessional Instructor (0.5 FTE)- Department of Psychology - Faculty of Arts - Fall 2026 & Winter 2027

About the role

The Department of Psychology at the University of Prince Edward Island invites applications for one 0.5 Sessional Instructor position for the 2026 Fall Semester and Winter 2027. We are seeking an instructor to teach in the following third-year course within the Doctor of Psychology program.

This position is subject to final budgetary approval.

8503 Advanced Practicum II

Students may complete a second advanced practicum consisting of at least 200 practicum hours. The practicum setting may be one that has been previously established, or the student may seek out their own clinical placement, which must be approved by the Director of Clinical Training.

Qualifications:

Successful applicants will have a Doctoral degree in Psychology and be registered as psychologists. Experience in supervising doctoral psychology practicum placements, and fluency in both English and French are required as well.

Please note that applicants on the UPEI sessional roster for Psychology will be considered first.
