ATCO Structures is seeking a detail-oriented and experiencedAuditor, Quality Assuranceto support the ongoing effectiveness of our Quality Control & Assurance program. This role is responsible for planning and executing systematic audits to ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and internal policies across projects and operations.

In this role you will play a key role in maintaining quality excellence, identifying improvement opportunities, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives within a construction and manufacturing environment.

This is a full-time, permanent role, based in Calgary AB.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Plan, coordinate, and conduct internal quality audits, monitoring activities, and project reviews in accordance with Project Quality Plans.
  • Evaluate quality management systems, identify non-conformities, and issue NCRs with recommended corrective and preventive actions.
  • Ensure all project quality documentation (PQP, ITPs, inspection records, commissioning binders) is in place, implemented, monitored, and accurately recorded.
  • Maintain current knowledge of applicable Canadian and Alberta Building Codes, along with relevant standards and regulations.
  • Prepare detailed audit, inspection, and compliance reports and maintain accurate, well-organized audit records.
  • Present audit findings, conclusions, and recommendations to Project Managers and key stakeholders.
  • Provide guidance, training, and support on quality assurance standards, compliance, and best practices.
  • Identify and support process improvements, monitor effectiveness of corrective actions, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Job Qualifications:

  • Trade School Certification with 5–7 years of relevant experience or Engineering Degree with 2–4 years of experience.

    • Proven experience in quality assurance and/or auditing; construction or manufacturing experience is an asset.
    • ISO 9001 Lead Auditor or Internal Auditor certification through a recognized institution.
    • Journeyman or related technical certifications considered an asset.
    • Strong knowledge of building codes, construction documents, technical specifications, and quality requirements.
    • Experience developing and implementing Project Quality Plans (PQP) and Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs).
    • Ability to interpret architectural, electrical, and mechanical drawings.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, strong attention to detail, ability to work independently, and effective cross-functional communication skills.
    • Valid driver’s license, clean abstract, and passport required.
