About the role
Position: Stock and Sanitation Associate Reports to: Retail Manager
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain inventory accuracy, and the organization and cleanliness of the warehouse
- Complete order picking at a warehouse in a different location
- Regularly stock and replenish shelves
- Reporting and checking of expiry dates on products
- Efficiently receiving deliveries
- Processing bread and other special orders for customers
- Checking the cleaning schedule via JOLT app
- Perform general cleaning (sweeping, mopping, cleaning of washrooms and changing garbage bags whenever full)
- Reporting shortages/overages of products on deliveries and in store
- Assist customers and store staff with issues and questions regarding products
Requirements, Skills, & Qualification:
- Provide excellent customer service
- Ability to frequently bend, reach, crouch, kneel, sit and stand for long periods of time
- Ability to complete repetitive tasks
- Flexibility with schedule changes and shift times
- Able to lift up to 50lbs
- Fully proficient in English
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
- Able to handle constant change (change in product offering, change in company policies) with a positive attitude
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
