Ambipar is a global leader in industrial services, environmental solutions, and emergency response. Our industrial cleaning division delivers safe, efficient, and technically advanced cleaning solutions across refineries, terminals, petrochemical facilities, and industrial sites. We are currently expanding our tank cleaning operations and seeking an experienced, hands-on Tank Project Supervisor to lead field execution.
Position Overview
We are looking for a leader with deep field experience in tank and vessel cleaning operations. This role is responsible for supervising crews, ensuring safe and efficient execution of projects, and maintaining strong relationships with clients on site. The ideal candidate brings strong technical knowledge, leadership presence, and a safety-first mindset.
Key Responsibilities

Provide hands-on supervision of industrial cleaning projects in active operating facilities
-
Lead field crews performing:
- Vessel cleaning
- Chemical cleaning
- Small to large diameter tank cleaning
- High-pressure and ultra-high-pressure water blasting

Coordinate daily job execution, manpower planning, and equipment deployment
-
Ensure compliance with all safety procedures, permits, and regulatory requirements

Act as primary on-site point of contact for clients and project stakeholders

Conduct job hazard assessments, toolbox talks, and safety leadership activities
-
Monitor project progress, productivity, and quality standards
-
Support project planning, mobilization, and demobilization activities
-
Mentor and develop field personnel and emerging supervisors
-
Maintain accurate daily reports, job documentation, and operational records
Qualifications & Experience
-
Minimum 5+ years of industrial tank cleaning leadership experience
-
Proven supervisory experience managing crews in refinery, petrochemical, terminal, or heavy industrial environments
-
Strong background in:
- Vessel cleaning
- Chemical cleaning operations
- Small and large diameter storage tank cleaning
- High-pressure and ultra-high-pressure water blasting (Nice to have)

Solid understanding of confined space entry, lockout/tagout, and industrial safety procedures
-
Ability to lead from the front in physically demanding field environments

Strong communication and client-facing skills
-
Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to project sites
Preferred Certifications

CSTS / CSO or equivalent

H2S Alive
-
First Aid / CPR
-
Confined Space Entry & Rescue Awareness

Fall Protection
-
LSE (Leadership by Safety Excellence)

High Pressure Water Jetting certification (Nice to have)
