The Accounting Manager oversees the day-to-day operations of the accounting team, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with internal controls, and timely completion of month-end and year-end processes. This role provides leadership and mentorship to team members, drives process improvements, and supports strategic initiatives within the finance department.

Your Mission

Financial Reporting & Compliance

  • Oversee preparation of monthly and annual financial statements.
  • Prepare and/or review monthly billing documents, tax filings, and partner reconciliations.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting and company policies.
  • Maintain internal controls and support audit requirements.

Process Improvement

  • Identify and implement efficiencies in accounting processes.
  • Support system upgrades and enhancements.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with other departments to ensure the accuracy of reporting.
  • Provide financial insights to support business decisions.

Leadership Responsibilities:

  • Provides clear direction, sets measurable goals, and holds team members accountable for performance and results.
  • Coaches, develops, and supports team members through regular feedback, performance reviews, and career development planning.
  • Fosters a high-performing, inclusive team culture that aligns with company values and business objectives.

What You Bring to the Table

  • CPA designation (or equivalent) preferred.
  • Minimum 5–7 years of progressive accounting experience, including supervisory responsibilities.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel
  • English proficiency is required for this position to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders.

Compensation: At BioScript, your base pay is one part of your total compensation package and is determined within a range. Our pay ranges are based on the local cost of labor benchmarks for each specific role, level, and geographic location.
