About the role

About the role: Join PwC’s growing Valuations team within Capital Equipment (CE). We advise on the valuation of plant, machinery and other fixed assets across transactions (pre and post deal), financial reporting, insurance, asset-based lending and tax. You will work with a diverse client base across sectors including Energy & Infrastructure, Industrials, Consumer, and Private Equity, supporting strategic decisions and compliance requirements. A range of products and services that deliver transformational insights to our clients throughout the deal cycle; This role offers the opportunity to accelerate your career through exposure to a wide range of clients, sectors and asset types, working on complex engagements across the UK and internationally. You will gain experience across the full valuation lifecycle, collaborating with global teams and cross-disciplinary specialists. We leverage advanced data analytics tools and emerging technologies, including AI, to enhance our methodologies—providing you with the platform to build both deep technical expertise and forward-looking skillsets. With increasing responsibility, client exposure, and opportunities to contribute to business development, this role is well suited to individuals looking to further develop their careers in a dynamic and evolving valuations environment. What your days will look like: You will: Deliver Capital Equipment valuation engagements (PPA, pre-deal, insurance, lending, tax), ensuring high-quality, timely outputs Manage client relationships, including scoping, fee discussions and presenting conclusions Manage multiple valuation engagements simultaneously, coordinating project plans, resources, budgets and stakeholder expectations to ensure timely and high-quality delivery. Review complex valuation models and reports, applying robust challenge and judgement Coordinate multi-disciplinary teams (Deals, Audit, Tax) to deliver integrated solutions Develop and coach junior staff; drive quality and consistency across the team Contribute to business development, including proposals, thought leadership and client networking The role is for you if: You have strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills You have strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritise competing demands, manage stakeholders effectively, and deliver complex projects to deadlines. You can operate in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple engagements simultaneously You demonstrate commercial awareness and sound professional judgement You take ownership of delivery and team development You are motivated to build and grow our fixed assets valuation offering in a dynamic market Essential requirements of the role: Must possess a degree in Engineering (essential), ideally complemented by a professional qualification (e.g. ACA, CFA, MRICS) or equivalent work experience.
