Door to Door (D2D) Partner Manager

The Door-to-Door Partner Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily activities of vendors/sales teams involved in door-to-door sales operations. This position ensures effective vendor performance, maximizes sales potential, and ensures customer satisfaction. The role involves managing vendor partnerships, training sales teams, analyzing performance metrics, and developing strategies to optimize sales and operational efficiency.
Reports To: VP, Residential Sales
Key Responsibilities:
- Vendor Relationship Management:

- Build and maintain strong relationships with door-to-door vendors, third-party contractors, and sales teams.
- Negotiate and manage vendor contracts and agreements, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.
- Coordinate and oversee vendor activities to ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Sales Strategy & Execution:

- Develop, implement, and refine door-to-door sales strategies to maximize reach and sales conversion.
- Set targets and quotas for vendors and sales teams, providing support and guidance to achieve sales goals.
- Monitor daily and weekly sales activity, analyzing performance to adjust strategies when needed.
- Training and Development:

- Conduct training sessions for vendors and sales teams on products, services, and sales techniques.
- Provide ongoing support to vendors, offering feedback and guidance on improving sales performance and customer engagement.
- Performance Monitoring:
-
- Track and analyze vendor and sales team performance through sales data, customer feedback, and KPIs.
- Ensure vendors meet company standards for customer service, professionalism, and compliance with local laws and regulations.
- Address performance issues promptly, developing improvement plans where necessary.
- Customer Experience & Satisfaction:

- Ensure that vendors deliver high-quality customer service and effectively address customer queries or complaints.
- Act as a liaison between vendors and customers to ensure the smooth resolution of issues or concerns.
- Monitor customer satisfaction metrics and work with vendors to address areas for improvement.
- Reporting & Analytics:

- Create regular performance reports on sales activities, vendor performance, and market trends.
- Present insights and recommendations to senior management for continuous improvement.
- Compliance & Risk Management:
-
- Ensure vendors adhere to legal requirements and industry standards, including compliance with door-to-door sales regulations.
- Address and resolve any issues related to sales practices, including unethical behavior or non-compliance.
Qualifications & Experience
- Proven experience in vendor management, door-to-door sales, or sales management.
- A valid driver's license
- Experience in negotiating contracts and managing vendor relationships is highly preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively manage relationships with vendors and customers.
- Excellent problem-solving, negotiation, and conflict resolution abilities.
- Analytical skills to assess vendor performance and implement data-driven improvements.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field (preferred).
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on operational efficiency and quality.
Job Details:
- Full time: hours of work will generally fall between 8:00am to 8:00pm, Monday to Friday with some weekend work required.
- This is primarily a remote position that requires familiarity with Manitoba and Saskatchewan markets and geography. There will be occasional requirements to attend sales events within our markets.
