About The Opportunity
We are building a talent pipeline for upcoming Membership and Events Coordinator contract opportunities with our clients in Ottawa. While there is no immediate opening at this time, qualified candidates are encouraged to express interest in future roles supporting membership administration, event coordination, and stakeholder communications. These opportunities are well suited to professionals who can help ensure the smooth delivery of member services, meetings, conferences, and engagement initiatives.
Duties include but are not limited to:
Coordinating in-person, virtual, and hybrid events, including registrations, logistics, materials, and attendee support Supporting membership administration activities, including renewals, applications, database updates, and responding to member inquiries Preparing and distributing event communications, membership materials, confirmations, and follow-up documentation Liaising with internal teams, vendors, speakers, members, and external stakeholders to support successful event delivery and member engagement Maintaining accurate records, tracking tools, reports, and administrative documentation related to membership and events activity Assisting with event set-up, coordination, and post-event follow-up, including attendance tracking and feedback collection where required
About You
The successful candidate will have the following:
At least 1 year of experience in event coordination, membership services, association administration, or a similar support role Strong organizational skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively Excellent communication and client service skills, with the ability to interact professionally with members, stakeholders, and service providers Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience using CRM, AMS, or event registration systems is considered an asset Bilingualism in English and French would be considered a strong asset
About the Job
This role offers $26.00 to $34.00 per hour, dependent on experience.
