Position Summary:

Dufferin Concrete is seeking a customer-focused Account Manager to support our Metro Region sales team. This role acts as a key connection between our customers and the business, strengthening relationships, identifying growth opportunities, and ensuring reliable service delivery. The Account Manager is expected to demonstrate CRH Canada’s cultural attributes in every interaction and will report to the East District Sales Manager.

Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing accounts, using Salesforce to manage contacts, opportunities, and follow-ups
  • Identify and develop new accounts within the assigned territory to support sustainable business growth
  • Gather and analyze market intelligence, including volumes, trends, and economic drivers
  • Provide front-line technical support and collaborate with internal teams to resolve customer inquiries and concerns
  • Develop and execute annual business plans covering pricing, objectives, product mix, and receivables management
  • Maintain a visible jobsite presence to support OH&S compliance, product quality, and delivery effectiveness

Requirements:

  • College or Associate Degree required, with a Bachelor’s degree preferred in Marketing, Engineering, or Construction
  • Five or more years of relevant sales or industry experience, preferably within a related product line
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and customer service skills with a proven record of success
  • Demonstrated ability in strategic planning, analysis, and territory management
  • Valid Class G driver’s license with the ability to travel regularly to customer sites and jobsites
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Salesforce, and business reporting tools, with SAP experience considered an asset
