Applications are invited for the position of International Recruitment Specialist in the International Recruitment - Enrolment Division, located at the Daniel J. Patterson Campus. This is a temporary position, and approximate dates of the appointment are August 2026 through August 2027. The salary range is $79,101 to $98,878. Additional hours may be required as necessary. Reporting to the Associate Director of International Recruitment, the International Recruitment Specialist is a key member of Niagara College’s International Recruitment team, responsible for driving international student recruitment and enrolment growth. This role implements integrated strategies across communications, business development, marketing, and enrolment management to meet recruitment targets. The Specialist builds and maintains strong relationships with internal and external partners, delivers market intelligence and trend analysis to managers, and refines outreach approaches based on data and outcomes.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to

Research market trends to identify and target prospective student demographics Collaborates in the setting of enrolment goals and objectives for upcoming recruitment cycles Builds and maintains a database of contacts within assigned regions Schedules presentations and workshops to promote college programs in new and existing markets Organizes special events for prospective students and agents, such as scholarship days or application day or other related events Develops and attends virtual recruitment events for broader outreach Monitors social media platforms and recruitment to share success stories and program highlights Monitors student enrolment trends and adapting follow-up strategies accordingly Qualifications: Minimum three (3) year diploma in Sales, International Relations, Public Relations, Political Science, Business Development, Marketing, Business Administration, Project Management or similar field of study Minimum three (3) years recent, progressive experience in international sales, marketing, student recruitment, admissions, relationship management or business development within the education or related sector (private or public) Direct experience in post secondary education; current knowledge of post secondary education in Canada Demonstrated global experience across various international markets, including experience traveling to or living outside Canada and working in cross cultural environments Proven track record implementing strategies that increase international student recruitment to Canada and achieving recruitment targets. Excellent written and verbal communication, public speaking and presentation skills for diverse audiences
