Role Description The Ophthalmic Receptionist & Assistant is a full-time, on-site role based at Focus Eye Centre Inc. in Ottawa, ON.
Welcome patients and visitors in a professional manner
Answer and direct incoming telephone calls Schedule consultations, surgeries, and follow-up appointments Register patients and verify demographic information Process payments and maintain accurate patient records Coordinate referrals and communicate with external providers Assist clinical staff with patient flow Support surgeons and ophthalmic staff with administrative tasks Maintain confidentiality in accordance with PHIPA Perform other duties as assigned
Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Hours: Monday to Friday (9-5) with occasional evenings or Saturdays as required. Compensation: $23.00–$25.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications. Competitive salary based on experience.
