2025 - 2026 UBC TEACHER CANDIDATES

Richmond School District operates 37 elementary schools, 10 secondary schools, alternate programs, continuing education and a number of additional facilities. The district enrolls approximately 22,000 students (K-12) and employs over 3000 dedicated staff.

The Richmond School District is now accepting applications for both elementary and secondary TTOC's.

**For applicants that are applying prior to completing the Education program, please provide as much of the application as you can. If you are asked to submit a document that you are waiting to receive (like practicum reports), please submit an entry (a pdf of a document) that includes the date you expect to submit this document. **

Required Qualifications include:

  • Successful completion of a Bachelor of Education.
  • Successful student teaching experience.
  • Certified or eligible for certification with the Ministry of Education - Teacher Regulation Branch.
  • Registration or eligible for registration with Teacher Qualification Service (TQS).

Application portfolios must include the following documentation:

  • Cover letter
  • Resume
  • Final Practicum reports from both Faculty and School Associates (may follow later)
  • Academic transcripts (including undergrad; (may follow later)

Compensation:

Salary as per Teacher's Collective Agreement current salary range is $65,074.00 to $109,520.00 annually plus a comprehensive benefits package.
