Warehouse Associate (Full Time) - Ottawa, ON

This is an existing position, and the starting annual salary ranges from $46,000.00 to $54,000.00.

Primary Purpose:

We are looking for a highly motivated Warehouse Associate to join our Ottawa branch. The primary role of this position is to perform daily warehouse operations: receiving, put-away, shipping, all in compliance with Linde safety policies and procedures.
The work schedule for this position is: Monday – Friday 6:30am to 3:00pm (working hours may change in the future).

Key Accountabilities:

  • Filling and testing cryogenic liquids (nitrogen, oxygen)
  • Loading and unloading company trucks
  • Assist with loading and unloading delivery trucks and containers
  • Placing cylinder and specialty gas orders
  • Always keep warehouse in neat orderly condition
  • Comply with all department and company policies and procedures including but not limited to safety and attendance
  • Building pallets of cylinders
  • Verify all incoming products
  • Operating forklift and pallet jacks
  • Completing safety checks on warehouse equipment

Qualifications:

Experience:

  • 1-2 years of Warehouse and/or production facility experience.

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Basic understanding of or ability to quickly learn company product codes and terminology.
  • Thorough understanding of warehouse policies and procedures.
  • Forklift license is a plus
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
