HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
As Brand Manager – Recipe & Licensed Brands, Promotions and Agile Social Activation, you will lead high‑impact, strategic brand‑building initiatives that shape how our portfolio shows up for consumers and shoppers across Canada. Building on foundational Brand Manager responsibilities, you will drive integrated programs across Recipe Brands, Licensed Brands, national promotions, and a new agile social operating model for the Canadian market.

Strategic Brand Building, Insight Led Programs, Innovation & Communication Leadership: You will lead strategic, high‑impact brand‑building initiatives that solve critical business challenges and drive consumer and shopper demand across our portfolio. This includes overseeing commercial efforts spanning innovation, promotions, and communications, ensuring projects are delivered effectively, efficiently, on time, and within budget commitments. You will apply advanced analytics and diverse data sets to shape brand strategy and guide the development of insight‑driven programs that keep our brands relevant and impactful. In partnership with cross‑functional teams, you will spearhead product development and commercialization for top‑tier brands, managing project structure, process, and resource allocation. Additionally, you will lead the creation of high‑impact communication strategies by translating brand challenges and opportunities into compelling agency briefs and guiding the development of consumer‑facing assets across all major touchpoints.

Recipe Brand Leadership (Rice Krispies, Corn Flakes, Crispix): You will steward our Recipe Brand portfolio, ensuring these iconic brands remain culturally relevant and growth‑driving in the Canadian market. This includes:

- Leading brand strategy, annual planning, and performance management
- Developing and executing innovation, renovation, and commercialization pipelines
- Using advanced analytics and diverse data sets to craft insight‑driven programs that strengthen brand equity and drive demand

Licensed Brand Stewardship (Partner**‑**Collaborated Cereals): For our Licensed Brands—developed in collaboration with external partners—you will:
- Manage partner relationships and uphold joint brand standards
- Lead project structure, process, and resource management across development and commercialization initiatives
- Shape communication strategies and guide agencies to deliver compelling, consistent consumer and shopper‑facing creative across touchpoints

National Promotions (e.g., Free Beach Towels, Feeding Reading): You will lead national promotional programs across the WK Kellogg Canada portfolio, delivering consumer value and driving penetration. This includes:

- Building promotional strategies rooted in brand objectives and consumer insights
- Managing the execution of nationwide campaigns across channels and partners
- Collaborating closely with Sales, Finance, Shopper Marketing, Innovation, E‑Comm, and agencies to deliver integrated, high‑impact results

Agile Social Activation (Process & Operating Model for Canada): You will build and operationalize a new Agile Social Activation model to future proof how our brands show up in culture. This includes:

- Designing an agile workflow, roles, governance, and approval pathways
- Partnering with agencies to create a rapid response content engine
- Leveraging insights, data, and trends to deliver culturally relevant, brand building social content at speed

Cross-functional Collaboration: You will collaborate with specialized experts across Sales, Finance, Innovation, Shopper, Wellbeing, Regulatory and E-comm.
Compensation Insights:
- Full-time, onsite, position in our Mississauga, Canada office
- Business Travel Requirement expected at 5-10%
- Reports directly to Senior Manager, Brand and Advanced Marketing Capabilities
QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
University undergraduate degree in business or marketing
3-5 years of Brand Marketing experience, related experience in a Consumer-Packaged Goods company
Strong leadership skills with a proven project management ability with a bias for action and attention to details
Passion for social media, culture and ideas that punch above their weight
Experience in strategy development, leading innovation development and creative campaign development
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with ability to analyze data and synthesize key performance drivers with a bias for action to address issues, strong AC Nielsen experience
Excellent communication and persuasion skills with an ability to lead projects, influence and effectively collaborate both internally and externally from peers to leadership, both by informal communications and formal presentations
Desire and ability to work in a fast-paced, result-oriented, collaborative environment
Strong working knowledge of PC applications, including MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word & PowerPoint). Bonus for design application knowledge (Photoshop, Canva)
Preferred:
Proven P&L analysis/understanding
Experience managing cross functional teams without direct line reporting
Desire and ability to work in a fast-paced, high pressure, result-oriented environment
Compensation Highlights:
Salary Range: $98,880 - $123,600
Salary pay ranges are determined by role and level. Within the range, the successful candidate’s starting base pay will be determined based on factors including job-related skills, experience, certifications, qualifications, relevant education or training, and local market conditions.
