Lockheed Martin Canada is positioned for major growth with the Talent Acquisition team playing a critical role in our success. The Talent Acquisition, Sourcing Strategy Specialist will be a new addition, playing a pivotal role in building a pipeline of vetted, industry specific talent while enhancing Lockheed Martin Canada’s employer brand. The key responsibilities and priorities will the following:
- Pro-active sourcing to support the Talent Acquisition team to build diverse current talent pipelines for critical and hard-to-fill roles.
- Supporting long-term growth by identifying, attracting, and pipelining senior high-quality Defence Industry talent, and maintaining ongoing communication strategy.
- Supporting the full cycle recruitment for key positions from Defence sector, such as Program Manager, Business Development and other senior roles.
- Collaborating with the Corporate marketing recruitment teams to enhance our employer branding strategy, create compelling outreach content and promote the company’s value proposition across social and professional networks.
- Using data analysis, tracking and reporting on recruitment metrics to continuously refine and optimize sourcing tactics.
- Supporting various Corporate initiatives, special Talent Acquisition projects and internal training.
What you bring to the role
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5–8 years of specialized experience in proactive talent sourcing and full-cycle Corporate recruiting.
- Proven track record of finding industry niche talent and incorporating new sourcing methods and tools. Expertise in using advanced Boolean search strings and diverse sourcing platforms beyond standard job boards.
- Hands-on experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) like Success Factor or IBM Kenexa, and must have advanced mastery of LinkedIn Recruiter.
- Experience in corporate recruitment marketing and strong ability to interpret complex data and translate market intelligence into actionable recruitment strategies.
- Self-directed and motivated with proven ability to problem solve, drive for results and excellent follow-up skills.

- Strong team contributor and collaborator in all forms (new ideas, team calls, mentoring, training, partnerships with Recruiters, Leaders and Corporate teams)
- Strategic thinking and ability to anticipate future workforce needs and develop long-term talent communities rather than just immediate hires.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills to build trust with high-level passive candidates and influence internal leadership decisions.
- Experience in supporting military personnel transition.

Salary Range
$82,000 - $107,500
