Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and motivated ISA Certified Arborist to join our team. Working under the direction of the Superintendent, you will be responsible for maintaining and caring for trees on commercial and select residential properties. In addition to arborist duties, you’ll collaborate with our landscaping crews to maintain lawns, gardens, and outdoor spaces. This is a year-round position , which includes snow removal work during the winter season.

Responsibilities

Inspect, maintain, prune, and remove trees to ensure property safety

Diagnosing tree health issues and recommending treatment plans

Operate and maintain arborist equipment safely and effectively

Assist crews with landscaping tasks, including lawn and garden maintenance

Ensure compliance with industry standards, company policies, and safety regulations

Participate in snow and ice management operations during winter months

Required Qualifications

Valid Class 5 Driver’s License (minimum)

Valid ISA Arborist Certification

At least 2-5 years’ experience in arboriculture

Knowledge of trees including identification and growth habits

Correct arboriculture techniques for trimmer, pruning, repairing, and maintaining

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Ability to lift and carry 50lbs

Working Conditions/Physical Demands

Physically demanding role: must be able to life, carry, push, and pull up to 100lbs

Outdoor work in a variety of weather conditions (heat, rain, snow, ice)

Hands-on work with tools, equipment, and machinery
