About the role

Job Description Position Overview The  Process Engineer is responsible for designing, optimizing, and maintaining manufacturing processes to ensure operational efficiency, safety, and product quality. This role serves as a technical resource within the organization, supporting continuous improvement initiatives and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance process performance and reliability.

Working closely with operations, maintenance, engineering, and quality teams, the Process Engineer identifies opportunities for process optimization, resolves technical challenges, and supports the implementation of new technologies and process improvements that drive operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities: 1. Process Optimization

  • Analyze, design, and implement strategies to improve process stability, efficiency, and scalability.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives aimed at maximizing production output while minimizing waste and operational costs.

2.  Technical Problem Solving

  • Investigate and resolve complex technical issues related to processes, equipment, and technologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement effective solutions.

3. Data -Driven Insights

  • Collect, monitor, and analyze process performance data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities.
  • Use advanced data analysis tools to support decision-making and validate process enhancements.

4. Project Management

  • Lead process development and optimization projects, ensuring deliverables are completed within established timelines and budgets.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to align projects with operational priorities and company objectives.

5. Operational Support

  • Provide technical support to production teams to ensure stable and efficient process operations.
  • Serve as a key resource for troubleshooting critical process issues during operations.

6. Safety, Quality & Compliance

  • Ensure all manufacturing processes comply with safety regulations, environmental standards, and quality requirements.
  • Identify potential operational risks and implement corrective or preventive measures.

7. Stakeholder Communication

  • Work closely with operations, quality, maintenance, and engineering teams to support process improvements and operational initiatives.
  • Communicate process performance metrics, improvement outcomes, and technical updates to leadership and stakeholders.

8. Leadership & Mentorship

  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and technical staff.
  • Support the development of engineering best practices and knowledge sharing within the team.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
  • 2-5 years of experience in process engineering, preferably in chemical manufacturing or high-purity materials production.
  • Demonstrated experience in process design, optimization, and troubleshooting.
  • Strong knowledge of process control systems and manufacturing processes.
  • Experience with Lean Six Sigma methodologies and root cause analysis.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic production environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate across organizational levels.
