About the role
Our client is seeking a highly experienced D365 Trainer with SharePoint expertise to support a national training and information management initiative. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Microsoft 365 (D365), SharePoint (on-premise and online), and experience in developing training programs, videos, and instructional content for users across varied departments and time zones.
Mandatory Active SECRET clearance Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver training videos and step-by-step guides for users on SharePoint (on-premise) and Defence 365 features.
- Build and maintain a SharePoint Online Training site with how-to content, videos, and best practices.
- Conduct training sessions for new Site Owners using training packages and sandbox environments.
- Collaborate with the Communications (CO) and Information Management (IM) teams to design onboarding/orientation training for new team members.
- Design and deploy Power Apps for automating team member intake forms and leadership processes.
- Create an internal Wiki with approval workflows to replace DWAN-only resources on D365.
- Support users in navigating the Microsoft Tenant environment post-launch.
- Perform daily web administration for over 1,200 SharePoint sites.
- Lead biweekly Information Management Working Groups and L1/L2 sessions to distribute updates and training.
- Host monthly deployed Information Management sessions for field IMOs.
Qualifications
- Proven expertise in D365 and SharePoint (Online & On-Premise)
- Experience in instructional design and e-learning/training video creation
- Strong experience with Power Apps and workflow automation
- Comfortable presenting to and training users of varying technical skill levels
- Ability to manage and administer large-scale SharePoint environments
- Active SECRET clearance required
