What You'll Be Doing
As an Associate, Client Data & Process Automation, you will be responsible for executing data management and data analysis activities in support of Client Data Strategy and Regulatory initiatives. The objective is to ensure data produced by Capital Markets business and support groups is accurate, complete and reusable to fulfill all downstream reporting purposes, including but not limited to regulatory trade reporting obligations. The incumbent will help support all business intelligence and data analytics to support BAU and senior management decisions on its operations and data management capabilities. Process automation support to transform existing processes will be executed through this team.

How You’ll Succeed
- Client Data Management: You will work with stakeholders (Client Services, Technology, Client Management Services, Regulatory Operations, Regulatory Change Management) to support an overall client data management strategy (client onboarding and client data management including AML/KYC, trade & regulatory attributes). You will support and execute data extraction, analysis, reporting, dashboarding, and automation. You will partner with Technology to implement client data management tools and enhancements and provide project management support to Client Data Management and Regulatory Remediation initiatives.
- Relationship Management: You will effectively manage relationships with internal clients and Technology and Operations stakeholders.
- Compliance: You will comply with all applicable CIBC and line of business policies, standards, guidelines and controls.
Who You Are

You have a bachelor’s degree or master’s in Computer Science or a similar field.

You can demonstrate strong experience with data management and have familiarity with Capital Markets business and product knowledge to easily understand the risk requirements of simple and complex deal structures.

Very strong use of Excel, Alteryx, Power BI, Tableau, Python, Databricks, Power Automate, SharePoint & Microsoft Power Suite is required.
