About the role
The QC Inspector is responsible for performing inspection and verification activities at various stages of production to ensure products meet established quality standards, drawings, and customer requirements. The role involves conducting sampling inspections, operating test and inspection equipment, generating reports, and supporting testing operations as needed to maintain consistent product quality.
Key Responsibilities

Incoming Inspection: Perform sampling-based inspections of incoming materials and components in accordance with approved inspection plans and acceptance criteria.

Final Inspection: Conduct final sampling inspections of completed assemblies prior to release, verifying conformance to drawings, specifications, and customer requirements.

Pre-shipping Inspection: Carry out pre-shipment sampling inspections to confirm that all inspection and documentation requirements are complete before release.

AOI Operation: Operate Automatic Optical Inspection (AOI) equipment, ensuring accuracy and reliability of generated test data.

Test Report Generation: Prepare and maintain test reports (e.g., for rods or subassemblies) based on inspection and testing data.

Electrical Test Support: Provide assistance to the Electrical Tester in test setup, execution, and verification of test parameters as required.

Data Compilation: Generate test reports from electrical test data and submit to the QA Manager for review and approval.

Audit Support: Support pre-shipping audits and ensure inspection compliance with internal and customer-specific standards.

Records Management: Maintain all QA forms, records, and inspection reports in a well-organized, retrievable, and auditable condition.

Backup Support: Perform testing activities as a backup when the primary tester is unavailable, ensuring minimal disruption to inspection flow.

General Support: Perform other duties as assigned to support the operations team and maintain smooth plant operation.
Qualifications and Skills

College diploma or technical certificate in Electronics, Quality, or related discipline preferred.

1–3 years of experience in quality inspection within a manufacturing or electronics environment.

Familiarity with IPC-A-610 / IPC-WHMA-A-620 standards.

Experience with AOI systems and electrical test equipment (e.g., Voltech, Tonghui, or equivalent) is an asset.

Strong attention to detail, organization, and documentation accuracy.

Proficiency in using MS Office and ERP systems for inspection data entry.
Working Conditions
- Manufacturing environment requiring attention to small details under magnification.
- Regular use of AOI and electrical test equipment.
- May require standing for extended periods during inspection activities.
