About the role

Are you a natural hunter who loves the thrill of closing a deal? Do you want a role where your income is entirely a reflection of your hustle? Mario's Super Soil is seeking a high-energy, driven Independent Sales Representative to expand and nurture our retail and wholesale customer base. This is a fully remote, commission-only role designed for a professional who takes massive initiative, loves picking up the phone, and has the dedicated time required to consistently crush cold calls and build a pipeline. Your main focus will be identifying, prospecting, and locking in new wholesale accounts—such as garden centers, hardware stores, and agricultural supply outlets. While we will provide you with warm leads to help kickstart your pipeline, you must possess a true "hunter" mentality and be fully capable of sourcing, researching, and generating your own leads from scratch.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities: Proactive Lead Generation: Independently research, source, and target new potential wholesale accounts (garden centers, nurseries, hardware stores) alongside managing company-provided leads. High-Volume Outbound Prospecting: Dedicate focused time daily to making cold calls, sending emails, and generating fresh leads. Pipeline Management: Independently manage your sales pipeline using CRM tools to ensure meticulous follow-up. B2B Sales Presentations: Conduct virtual sales meetings, present product benefits, and prepare accurate quotes. Brand Ambassadorship: Represent Mario's Super Soil professionally, providing product education to retail buyers and hardware owners. Target Achievement: Work autonomously to meet and exceed self-driven and company sales milestones. Qualifications & Requirements (Updated) The Hustle & Drive: A fierce self-starter mentality with the proven ability to work independently without being micromanaged. Time & Focus: Must have the dedicated daily time availability required to make a high volume of outbound calls. Sales Excellence: Proven experience in outbound B2B sales, cold calling, and independent lead generation (sourcing your own prospects is a core requirement). Tech Savvy: Comfortable with CRM tracking tools and conducting remote video demonstrations. Green Industry Knowledge (A Plus): Knowledge of gardening, agriculture, cannabis cultivation, or soil/plant nutrition is highly beneficial, but a passion for learning the product line is a must. Communication: Exceptional negotiation, presentation, and closing skills. Education: High school diploma required; background in Business or Marketing is a plus.
