Summary The Communications Coordinator helps keep our members informed and connected by creating and sharing updates about events and programs. You’ll play an important role in making communication clear and engaging, while reflecting Ups and Downs’ mission
Description What you’ll be doing
Responsibilities:
- Create and schedule email updates about events and programs (training provided).
- Work with our Social Media Coordinator to keep messaging consistent.
- Help keep member contact lists organized.
- Track email performance and share ideas to improve engagement.
- Collaborate with volunteers to gather event details and make emails engaging.
- Ensure communications reflect Ups and Downs’ mission and values.
Preferred Skills And Qualifications:
- Comfortable writing clear, friendly messages.
- Willing to learn tools like Mailchimp (we’ll train you).
- Organized and dependable.
- Enjoy working independently but happy to connect with the team.
- Passionate about inclusion and community.
