As a Shipper/Receiver, the successful candidate will
- Coordinate processing of outgoing product, preparing and loading material in a timely manner in order to meet delivery deadlines and customer commitments
- Receive incoming shipments, check orders for accuracy and ensure all products indicated have been received and accounted for
- Operate forklift in a safe manner; this includes utilizing proper safety precautions to ensure equipment and loads in the company forklift are safely secured for transportation
- Assist in inventory management through documentation processes and inventory counts
- Operate forklift safely utilizing proper safety precautions to ensure equipment and loads are safely secured for transportation
What does it take to get on track?
- Three or more years of experience in a warehouse environment
- Forklift experience required
- Ability to pass regular drug and alcohol testing
- Completion of a High School Diploma or GED is strongly preferred
- Excellent communication skills - both verbal and written
- Proven ability to work as part of a team
- Ability to work safely in a fast paced environment
- Ability to consistently lift 50 kilograms
- Intermediate computer skills
