We are looking for a Marketing Specialist, Media to help drive the paid media strategy and planning of integrated marketing strategies across all Empire banners. This role also assists in Organic and Paid Media strategy and execution across banners. They will act as a subject matter expert in paid media for both traditional and digital media platforms and work with a cross functional team of internal and external/agency partners to help lead and bring strategy to life to drive engagement with the consumer.
Here's Where You'll Be Focusing
- Lead or support media strategy and planning to deliver best-in-class media recommendations
- Act as subject matter expert on traditional and digital media, social media and influencer platforms and best practices for cross-functional business partners
- Work cross-functionally with internal stakeholders and external agencies to implement initiatives that align with overall marketing & business objectives
- Foster strong working relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners, including but not limited to, media and social agencies
- Coordinate and manage campaign timelines and workflows to ensure timely execution with internal and external teams.
- Lead or support the development of paid influencer strategies for multiple banners nationally optimized to different brand identities and target audiences
- Work closely with external partners to conduct reporting and analysis; identifying trends and sharing recommendations for optimization with cross-functional partners
- Drive media optimization conversations to inform active and future campaigns (learning, insight & opportunities)
- Support budget tracking, including MPA approval processes and invoice reconciliation
What You Have To Offer
- An Undergraduate Degree or equivalent experience
- 5 years of relevant work experience in retail, advertising, marketing, or merchandising environment
- Solid understanding of large-scale media platforms and traditional and digital channels (e.g., TV, CTV, radio, OOH, programmatic, search, social, display).
- Strong knowledge of social media & influencer marketing
- Familiarity with digital analytics tools and ability to interpret performance data
- Exceptional project and time management skills
- Proven experience in working collaboratively with cross-functional teams and building positive working relationships
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and concisely
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially PowerPoint and Excel for data analysis and reporting
- Extensive experience in Meta Business Suite, Pinterest Business Accounts, Sprout Social, etc.
- Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with multiple stakeholders and manage external agency relationships, with strong collaboration and problem-solving skills.
- Up-to-date knowledge of marketing trends, platforms, and best practices.
- Passion for food and customer experience is a plus
